Born from a boy with a passion for songwriting, The Musically Connected has grown into one of the largest owner operated sync licensing and representation companies in the South!

Our founder, Rowland, hails from Houston, TX. Growing up, he discovered hip-hop and rap at a fairly young age. He wanted to create his own works of art to share with his friends and family- releasing his first album at 13. He found his passion in sync licensing and music business while studying at Belmont University. Rowland graduated with a job offer from a professor and a plan to make sync licensing accessible to all musicians, regardless of genre.

The scope of work in the last decade has grown from sync and micro licensing to radio promotions, artist management, a booking wing, as well as consulting for label representation, contract review, and business development.
