Story

Born from a boy with a passion for songwriting, The Musically Connected has grown into one of the largest owner operated sync licensing and representation companies in the South!

Our founder, Rowland, hails from Houston, TX. Growing up, he discovered hip-hop and rap at a fairly young age. He wanted to create his own works of art to share with his friends and family- releasing his first album at 13. He found his passion in sync licensing and music business while studying at Belmont University. Rowland graduated with a plan to make sync licensing accessible to all musicians, regardless of genre. He's been doing just that since 2012.

Our scope of work has grown from sync and micro licensing to radio promotions, artist management, a booking wing, as well as consulting for label representation, contract review, and business development.

The connections Rowland and his team have established throughout the industry will continue to support our mission of being an artist- accessible company working to help them capitalize on their craft.

Rowland resides mostly in Nashville with frequent bouts in LA and across the country- usually accompanied by his wife, Kristen, and their pup, Enzo. When he isn't working, you'll catch him watching sports or researching the next big music trend.
